The College of Arts & Letters Academic Workshop for Junior Parents Weekend will include an Arts & Letters faculty presentation in 101 DeBartolo Hall. An informal reception for parents and students to meet with faculty and other representatives from the College of Arts & Letters will follow in the Forum of Jenkins Nanovic.
Agenda:
- 10 to 11 a.m. — Academic Workshop with parents and students, 101 DeBartolo Hall. Speakers include I.A. O’Shaughnessy Dean of the College of Arts & Letters Sarah Mustillo; NicholasTeh, associate professor of philosophy; Susannah Monta, associate professor of English; and Jared Mrozinske, the career program director for Beyond the Dome. A short Q&A portion will follow, and families will receive a special gift for their attendance.
- 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — Reception for parents, students to meet with faculty, Forum of Jenkins Nanovic. Light refreshments will be provided.
Junior Parents Weekend (JPW) is focused on the Notre Dame family, enabling parents to become part of the academic, spiritual, social, and residential life of the University. It provides them with the chance to learn more about the people and places that comprise their son’s or daughter’s home away from home.
