The Program of Liberal Studies is hosting a welcome night for all rising sophomores interested in the program. PLS offers a completely unique undergraduate experience: it is the only Great Books program based within a world-class research university. By choosing to major in PLS, you’ll explore philosophy, literature, political theory, natural science, theology, music, and intellectual history. You’ll read, discuss, and write about great thinkers and artists from Aristotle to Jane Austen, from Dante to Darwin, from Shakespeare to Swift. Professors and upper-year students will be happy to answer any questions you have about the program. Pizza will be served!
