Research Profile
Mongrain, while teaching Systematic Theology at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, received the St. Mary's University Distinguished Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2003. He joined the Program of Liberal Studies at Notre Dame in 2004. Mongrain is the author of The Systematic Thought of Hans Urs von Balthasar: An Irenaean Retrieval (2002) and Heaven on Earth: The Earthy Mysticism of John the Evangelist (2006).
