Research Profile
A French Government Fellow (1951-2) at the University of Paris, a Belgian-American Foundation Fellow (1957-8) at the University of Louvain, Crosson taught graduate courses in Continental Philosophy for years while teaching undergraduate courses in the great books for PLS. His research and writing have been influenced by those two fields as well as by research in the field of artificial intelligence and by serving as editor of the Review of Politics. Three of the books that he edited were on artificial intelligence (later translated into Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese), while the fifty or so of his articles range over political philosophy, continental philosophy, computer intelligence and philosophy of religion.
