PLS After Graduation

The Program of Liberal Studies has been in existence since 1950.  But because the Program is so unusual and distinctive, prospective students (and their parents) sometimes have questions about the practical implications of majoring in PLS.

One frequently asked question is, “What do PLS students do after they graduate?”  The answer is, “Anything and everything.”  Many go on to law school, some to medical school, some to graduate school in a variety of disciplines; some take a year or two off to do service work before continuing their education or embarking on a career.  PLS offers a foundation in the liberal arts that will be invaluable to you no matter what your career path may be.
